Super Curriculum

Super curricular activities are those that take learning beyond the ordinary. They take the subjects that students will study in the classroom beyond the items taught to realms that will deepen and enrich the knowledge of the students.

These activities are in a range of different forms: reading activities, viewing online videos, attending lectures, listening to podcasts, visiting museums and exhibitions or entering academically based competitions.

Engaging in super curricular activities will help all students who try them to develop a passion for their favourite subjects.

On this website, there are a range of activities, gleaned from a variety of different sources including teachers at Stratton School.

We encourage students to use these as foundations and not as a limit of what can be done once they develop a natural curiosity to explore further.
