Ahead of the half term and Spring Mocks, Year 11 are having an exam stress management assembly with our colleagues from the NHS Mental Health Service, who operate out of Stratton School. We are honoured to host this amazing team of staff.

It was amazing to see so many families last night at the Options Launch event for Year 8 and Year 9. The Options system is now live on Bromcom (MCAS). Deadline is March 3rd, please please remember, we do not operate first come first served.... so there is no immediate rush if students are still deciding.

Year 7 Shakespeare immersion morning - settling in to watch the amazing RSC production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

On Wednesday, the Year 12 and 13 English Literature and Language students went to the beautiful Almeida Theatre in London to watch the highly acclaimed Cat in a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams as we study his play on the A level course.

Amongst the stars were Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People; Where the Crawdads Sing), Kingsley Ben-Adir (Bob Marley; Barbie) and Lennie James (The Walking Dead). The play was electric and we cried with joy when we met Lennie James after the show - he sign the poster on display in Chaundler!

A big thanks to Dave from East Anglia Ambulance Service who delivered an Emergency First Aid course to our Year 12 Sport students… learning CPR, how to use a defibrillator, the recovery position, spinal injuries & many other skills!

Not only is this part of their coursework to know how to deal with particular injuries, but it’s such an important skill to know first aid in specific scenarios.

Biggleswade's Brainiest Business - New date for the diaries!

We were so disappointed to have to cancel the charity quiz last term, however we are back with a new date and excited to extend the invite to more businesses in and around Biggleswade!

So, get your teams together and sign up to compete for the title.

UK Maths Challenge today. An amazing turn out from across the entire school, but special well done to our Cowardly Lion who nipped out of Wizard of Oz rehearsals today to sit his exam... can you spot him hidden somewhere in this picture !?!?

One of the many (!) advantages to being part of Meridian Trust are the locality Hub events offered to students from a cross section of Trust schools.

This week, members of our Year 7 and Ms McIntyre, attended a media production event at Sharnbrook Academy.

Together with students from The Ferrers School and Lincroft Academy, our Y7s had two amazing days of product design, advertisement, script writing, group presentations and then in the Media suite, filming and editing.

What an amazing experience! Thank you to the team Sharnbrook Academy for your hard work!
