6th Form English head to Uni of Nottingham

Earlier this term, our A level Literature & Language students attended a linguistics conference at the University of Nottingham. They listened to five different lecturers, ranging from swearing and impoliteness to the poetry in the Red Hot Chilli Peppers' song 'Snow'. After developing their analytical skills, they were taken on a tour of the beautiful campus university...and even treated to an impromptu lecture by George! Well done to all students who attended.
